Galaxy Microlights is owned and operated by Mark Jones.

Mark has been involved in Microlighting since 1992 when he bought a Thruster TST and then decided to learn to fly it. He achieved this in 1993 and has notched up over 500 reliable and enjoyable hours  mostly on Thrusters since.

Having rebuilt several Thruster TST’s, T300’s and T600’s and worked on countless other Microlights as well as built a couple of Kits, and it came to a point in 2005 when Mark decided to set up his own business, Galaxy Microlights.
 
Mark has founded the Yahoo Groups "Thrusterclub" for anyone interested in Thrusters to ask questions, post information and get advice on building or using Thruster aircraft. 150 members and rising get emailed the clubs messages daily. Helped set up a group called Meteor Flight (www.meteorflight.co.uk) to restore a 1948 Gloster Meteor T7 back to flying condition for flying displays.
Several years later and after several Thruster rebuilds I became a BMAA inspector for most 3-axis types and later became a BMAA Check Pilot on 3-axis too.”
